This was a last minute choice for an overnight stay and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and value of this facility. The staff was professional, pleasant and very accommodating and gave us, without us asking, all the information we needed to make our brief stay as pleasant as possible. They even gave us directions to a near by venue we wanted to check out. Room and facility was clean and updated. Continental breakfast was better than expected and provided a sausage breakfast sandwich and gravy in addition to waffles, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt and the usual juices and much needed coffee.

Over the past 8 years l have stayed multiple times in Beckley as it is a halfway point between NC and OH. I always choose this exit because l feel comfortable with a CrackerBarrel restaurant close by...my safety comfort place while traveling alone. I have stayed at both the Comfort Suites and Microtel. Since l am a party of 1 and only sleep 1 quick night, Microtel offers what l need at a reasonable price. Haven't been here in 2 years and was totally amazed at the improvements/ upgrades. My little Room 206 was perfect and super sound proof...didn't hear a thing all night!

ALL of the staff were as friendly and helpful as we have experienced anywhere. Being Canadian with all of the extracurricular activities going on made that even more enjoyable. The sleeping arrangements were excellent and the breakfast was decent. Pretty good value for the money, but it was the way the staff treated everyone we saw them interact with that really grabbed your attention.

Hotel was in a great spot, close to lots of placed to eat and away from major interstates so it is quiet. Pool was big and clean just wear and tear on the finish. Hot tub was large enough for atleast 8 people, it was VERY hot compared to other places. Staff were all very friendly.

The hotel and my room were very clean. The check-in staff member was friendly and very helpful. There was plenty of parking close to the building. Pool area was clean and maintained with plenty of towels for use. The building itself, and the décor appeared well-maintained and updated.

The location was great… close to dining, gas & shopping and right off the highway. The food was ok for a continental breakfast. The pool & hot tub were excellent! Nice & clean and available during good hours. My granddaughter and I were able to swim the afternoon we arrived and also in the morning before we left. The staff was friendly & accommodating.

Everything was clean and fresh. The bedding was clean,fresh and comfortable. The room was clean and fresh, the towels were clean and fresh.Theres a mini refrigerator and a microwave in the room.The dining area was clean and fresh.They make very good coffee and it's always available, as well as the cereal,yogurt and apples. The employees were curious, friendly and helpful. At night it was quite and peaceful

Room was small but quiet. Shower was nice, bed was comfortable. I liked the window seat, that was different. Sat and watched the rain fall.

Everything!!! The people in charge of the front desk were very helpful from my arrival until my departure from the hotel, the best of all was the service that Andrea gave us, a very helpful and special woman, having helped me wash my clothes after my Spartan race was unforgettable !! My next time in West Virginia would undoubtedly be at Microtel Inn just to see her again!!! Infinite thanks
